This Full Brim V-Gard hard hat from MSA is great for applications like construction, tree trimming, and overhead electrical hazards. This hard hat meets with ANSI Z89.1-2003, Type I, Classes E (Electrical) and G (General). This is a hard hat that provides protection against such hazards as falling objects overhead, electrical shock and UV radiation. The MSA full brim cap is tested to provide protection from a force that is aproximately the equivalent to a 16 oz. hammer dropping from 40 feet. The brim extends wide over the neck and ears, which helps to reduce the amount of harmful UV radiation from the sun. The polyethylene shell is easy to wipe off, has a suspension system, and it is sold individually.
